Vintage Shapewear! The garments I wore are reminiscent of Rago Shapewear and the popular Secrets in Lace lingerie line. To capture this 60s style look I referenced some icons of that era such as the beautiful Brigitte Bardot. This series was shot on the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres, off the mayan coast of Mexico on an amazing and very private hacienda overlooking the lovely ocean, with its own private beach. Check out a few of my other shoots from isla! I really love the alluring look of shapewear and how it accentuates a girls curves. I remember nude nylons back in grade school where my english teacher would wear them. Looking back they almost came off as a fetish look, I love them! Cosmopolitan recently ran an article about tan pantyhose, have a read if you like just follow the link. Im not the greatest fan of the article as they talk about finding a tint that matches your skin tone, I prefer the contrast as I am a pale girl and a fan of true vintage style!
